Iran's Christmas present
I do not know if you people are into modern problems, but heres an interesting one: Israel claims that if Iran doesnt Disarm their nuclear weapons, they will strike Iran before christmas. This is all well and good, but whats the proof of this? Well first, i just recently heard that the Ayatolla of Iran (religiuos leader of Iran) has been hidden in the mountains (to protect from a possible attack?) and Iran has begun enriching more Uranium (main material used for nuclear weapons). Also, Russia has claimed that if Israel attacks Iran, Russia may join in on the fight (may be leading to world war III). Thoughts?

Modern Warfare 2
I just bought modern warfare 2 today, and i have to say its amazing. First of all, its beautiful. The graphics are some of the best iv ever seen. The storyline of the campaign is stunning as well, for it takes you all around the world. From Brazil to Russia, it takes you everywhere. The multiplayer is impressive as well. the amount of guns to pick from absolutely blows my mind. And all of this is only from playing the first 3 hours. I still havent even touched the special ops mode which i will be trying soon.
All in all, I beleive this is one of the best video games i have ever played. Hands down.

why do people..
why do people keep rare, exotic animals that could possibly kill them (lions, tigers etc.)? i honestly have almost no feelings when these people get attacked and they say "i never thought he would attack me"! when its a wild animal. No matter how "tame" you think they are, there is always that chance that something would make them snap.

The lions of Tsavo
I just got finished reading a book called "the lions of Tsavo". In case you do not know the story, it starts when the British are buliding the railroad in southern Africa in a place called Tsavo. Then, the killings started to happen. Every night, a workers scream was heard and all that was found of him was a blood trail leading into the woods (they later find the killer to be lions). These Lions were so focused on getting these workers that they would dig under the thorn barriers built to stop the killings and drag the workers out to kill them. Here are some of the theories why:
- Tsavo used to be a slave highway and slave traders were known to dump bodies there
- some Hindu workers were known to practice a burial ceremony in which they would simply let the bodies rot in the open.
- disease had wiped out the natural prey of the lions (warthogs, zebra, gazelle) so it left the lions with few choices.

why did this happen?
Did anyone hear about how Obama got the nobel peace prize??!! He has done nothing to promote peace, just shake hands with a bunch of dictators. Then again the nobel peace prize does have a bad rep. for giving awards to people who dont deserve them (AL gore)
